BBQ Turkey Burger
TURKEY BURGERS W/ No Fry Wedges |
1 clove minced garlic
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp cider vinegar
3 tsp low sodium soy sauce
1 lb ground turkey
1/4 cup chopped parsley
Directions
In a small pot combine ketchup, garlic, honey, vinegar and 2 tsp of the soy sauce. Bring to a simmer for 10 minutes over medium/low heat. Set BBQ sauce aside and let cool. Heat grill or grill pan to medium high. Meanwhile in a mixing bowl, combine turkey, 1/4 BBQ sauce (the rest you use for topping), parsley and soy sauce. Form about 4 patties. Lightly oil the pan/grill. Grill burgers about 5 min on each side (since its turkey we cook longer because you want to make sure they are 100% done, I believe the temp in the middle should reach about 170 to be done).Apple Celery Slaw
1/4 cup light mayo2 tsp mustard
2 tsp honey
1 tsp cider vinegar
2 celery ribs sliced very thin
1 gala apple sliced in thin matchsticks
